🔹 The price of a transplant depends on the changes made to the patient and the number of transplanted grafts;
🔹 One graft contains two hairs on average and this differs from the patient’s donor region;
🔹 For example, if 2000 grafts are transplanted, that is between 4000-4500 hairs on average;
🔹 The technique where the donor region is partially cut is a technique in which a small area at the place of the donor region is cut, but that region is unnoticeable, because it is covered by the hair that is above.
🔹 A technique in which the cutting of the donor region is completely eliminated.
It is important for the patient to be aware of the limitations associated with both techniques and to seek consultation from a qualified physician to determine if he/she is a good candidate to undergo such a procedure.
For example, if a patient has experienced severe hair loss, especially in the scalp area and requires an excessive amount of grafts (around 3,000-4,000 grafts), his/her head will be clipped. The decision is generally made during the planning phase of the hair transplant procedure after the patient has been examined by a doctor.
A new, advanced version of local anesthetic injection with a reduced level of pain is local anesthesia administered by jet injection. In this application, instead of using a needle, the anesthetic solution is delivered by using mechanical energy to create pressure, which is sufficient to force a dose of anesthetic through a very small opening.
As a result, with this application, the pain normally felt with injection needles is completely eliminated. Anesthesia applied by injectors without a needle significantly reduces the amount of pain experienced.
The operation itself is painless.
As for recovery, we recommend that you rest for 3 days, and the next day after the intervention you can function normally, you just need to make sure that there is no excessive physical activity for the next two weeks (training, heavy work, etc.)
